Scott,

I dont think one needs a Napster session to initiate port scans, specially when one is on a cable modem. I have the new version of AtGuard - Norton Internet Security installed for the past 8 months. I get port scanned multiple times a day. Most of the time the hackers are looking for viruses with backdoors. Then - I track down their IP address and report them to their ISP - if they are too aggressive in scanning my computer.

On another note Scott, is the free-electron service still up and running? I tried logging in and couldnt last night.

Cheers Big Guy!

Perry
