Got word today I am in on the IPO on this one. Don't know if it is smart move or if I would have better off waiting to see how the Crusoe story unfolds. . .time will tell.

Cheers and good luck!

Merilus announces product using Transmeta Crusoe processor

Product to be introduced at Comdex 2000

VANCOUVER, Nov. 6 /PRNewswire/ - Merilus Technologies Inc. today announced that it will introduce its first product utilizing the Transmeta Crusoe microprocessor on November 15th at Comdex 2000. This is the first use of Crusoe in an embedded application.

"We've been working with the Transmeta team to take advantage of the Crusoe chip architecture in the development of several new products we have underway," said Merilus President Dana Epp. "The characteristics of the processor allow us to embed our new solid state security devices into existing computer systems without worry of overheating. We also have the added flexibility of optimizing the processor through code morphing software."

Founded in 1997, Merilus recently released its first suite of software products -- Gateway Guardian -- which creates firewall and virtual private network (VPN) Internet security appliances for SME and SOHO businesses.

Merilus Technologies produces the Gateway Guardian line of software for creating firewall and virtual private networking appliances. Merilus products are easy to use and provide powerful protection from unwanted Internet intrusion or data security risks for single offices or IDBNs (Internet Distributed Business Networks).
