While I lean Democratic by nature, my sense is that the GOP will sweep everything today --As a result, I also expect the bond mkt to continue to sell off with the 30yr yield soon testing 7%-(look at the bond charts!) and the stock mkt to sell off as well. But, the die is cast as I see it for the Dow-the retrace will only be partial and that index will ultimately take out the 11750 high, one way or another. ---Geez-why couldn't the 2 major parties put forth heavyweight, attractive candidates that most Americans could at least be proud of regardless of party affiliation.(I would have impeached Clinton). To think of W now representing the leadership of the free world begs the obvious question from most other countries-'good god, is that the best you could do?'-Heaven forbid,it's a national embarassment. 'Frat Boy' won out over 'Who Am I and Which Way is the Wind Blowing'--As a Dem sympathizer, I could live with Reagan since he at least knew how to 'act'attractive, I could live with Bush Sr and Ford since they were studious and serious minded. But, Frat Boy? God I need a drink. How on earth did we deserve to have to choose between 2 such poor choices this time around?
