Engel, The 1.4 and 1.5 GHz Pentium 4's are 2 higher margin products - and one of them apparently has already been "introduced".

Haven't you heard Paul. They may be available but they aren't exactly flying off the shelves. yahoo.cnet.com.

An excerpt:

"The supply is pretty good," added a sales representative at 1st Class Technology, which is selling the 1.5-GHz chip for $1,125, not including shipping. "It came out about two weeks ago." But because of the lack of motherboards, 1st Class hasn't sold a single chip yet.


Looks like those infrastructure problems you keep complaining about with AMD may be worse at good ole Intel. Got it. No motherboards to be found. I'm sure the motherboard shortage is only temporary, or maybe no one is buying the P4 because of those ridiculous prices.
