Eric, Guess so, but even with the slip(s) it will be years ahead of anything from AMD. Think again: Itanium set for March launch theregister.co.uk Maybe I should add it to the analysis of your other predictions posted here: Message 14592303 Joe PS: We are approaching the end of 2000 and still no OS from Microsoft for Itanium. The only thing they have is: an early version of M$' 64-bit Whistler OS, build 2257, running mySQL and interacting with SAP under Linux. I guess no SQL Server.
