I admit that I am only going by what is on Ace's, I am am not aware of any other source on a McKinley delay. Aside from the stuff on Ace's, McKinley has been more or less penciled in for Q2/Q3 of next year. And I agree, my initial impression was McKinley was supposed to be 0.18 micron. But if this from the upcoming ISSCC is McKinley "At the IA-64 level, Intel bumps up by 1.5 times the frequency of its current 64-bit processor in a 1.2-GHz design that exploits 3.3 Mbytes of on-die cache, " there is no way that this will be on 0.18 micron. The cache alone would be 350mm^2 or so, the whole chip would exceed 500mm^2 (or at least get close). But the speed of 1.2GHz is in the range of where McKinley is supposed to be...
