Thanks for the excerpts Jeff, and I agree 100% regarding the conclusion for delivery [solely] via the Internet. I just got my state-of-the-art cable modem service and still only get choppy video of credit-card size at best. We're still a looong way away from full delivery of watchable films over the Internet to a broad audience, I'd say 2-4 years (which is exactly what I said last year incidentally - seems like things are moving pretty slowly in this arena). And even then, you'll still have questions like, "do you really want to watch a 2 hour movie relaxing from your computer desk??"

Meanwhile, if you're lucky enough to have a progressive MSO in your neighborhood, you can get working VOD today from your barca-lounger, with very good reviews (reference Bryant's quoting of T-W's satisfaction with the product on the last conf. call).

Some more good news, looks like AT&T is getting ready to jump into the ring as well:

We already know that CCUR has been working with WGAT, and here AT&T is going with Motorola DCT-2000 boxes, another possible tip-off in our favor...
