I agree with you though that Republicans deserve what they get for claiming all this economic prosperity... truth is it's very hard to tell. I think it very disingenious the way everyone blamed Jimmy Carter for recessions and hailed Regan for recovery when oil went from about $7 to $30 under Carter and back to $10 under Regan... PLUS the fact that Carter brought on Volker, widely hailed as Mr. fixit by the markets at the time. Anyway, whatever.... they're all liars. DAK
