The intention isn't to stop music piracy It is to enable various methods of charging for the music "experience" to compete with just stealing it. This can be done by simplifying the transaction and making it more convenient for the individual to pay rather than steal. This can't happen without individuals having the ability to own virtual property. That can't happen without an identity vault and a secure digital identity. That is the basic line of reasoning which I use. Of course it is impossible to stop piracy, but that isn't the point. The system developed should be touted as the most flexible and secure way to enable individuals to purchase and own virtual property --- via their identity vault.
