I'll bet the same thing would occur to most candidates...that says nothing to me. I've seen Gore in similar situations pretend like he knew what he was talking about and spew some gobbledy gook about how he invented, proposed or created something - when, in fact, it had occurred well before he was in office. What's the difference? Intelligence isn't determined by how you speak or react. It's what you know. Both men are very intelligent, probably Gore more so. Both have problems...Gore embellishes and lies frequently...Bush has a problem with the English language and does poorly on pop quizzes. I'd love to see how most of the people who post on these boards score on pop quizzes.....
