2 lbs? And I thought 9 oz. for the HWP548 was a lot! :)

In my opinion, anything over 9 oz. is just too big for the average user (i.e., a woman who carries her pda in her purse, or me and my memory needing a device that I can put in my pocket). A laptop is more practical at some point.

I've used the Palm/Symbian device (weighing over 1 lb) and it isn't practical for a casual user. MSFT C/E has a similiar device and although they are good for specific accounting functions, the customer base is limited.

The 2 lbs device is practial for someone working in the field who needs the specific applications.

Great info though. Anbody think that 2 lbs would be alright for a PDA -- outside the work environment?
