JXM ..... and I'm quoting you .... If you like a quiet place, the Desert Inn is nice (and they comp my room too<g>) it is reaaaaaallllly quiet there NOW ////// hate to break the news to you .... BUT the Desert Inn IS NO MORE ..... closed that pup at the end of Aug and it is scheduled for demo (as in blowupwithdynamite) and that has now signaled the LAST of the intown/onthestrip/walkoutthedooruntotheteebox golfer courses .... there will be a 40 acre pond amongst other of the new things at the new place which is now on line to have Opening Day in April of 2008 ..... ---------------------------------------------------- the Venetian is a fantastic place ..... but you need to tell Paddy when he rides in the gondola that the rowerman is the one who sings the arias, NOT him .... I'm not gonna be the one to inform him ...
