Intel Completes 0.13 Micron Process Technology Development

That will result in faster CPU chips with bigger, faster on-die caches for Compaq et al to use in PCs and servers down the line (mid-2001 sometime). AMD is preparing similar process technology with Motorola. The big 4 OEMs will have all the more powerful machines with which to go after Sun.
