Compaq Offers Promotions, Reduces Prices on Selected Systems and Services; New Information on the Compaq Web Site

prices on selected Deskpro desktops, Armada portables, AP and SP Workstations, and ProLiant

Implemented price reductions from 6 to 31 percent on Deskpro EN products

Introduced promotional offers through the company's Web site and authorized dealers that
include up to $150 off selected Deskpro EX and EXS products
Reduced prices on selected Armada portables up to 22 percent

Over the last 30 days reduced prices from 4 to 24 percent on selected ProLiant servers

Offered special promotions on Compaq CarePaq services offerings on commercial PC purchases

Launched a special promotion on monitors concurrent with sales of iPAQ desktop systems,
while monitor supplies last
