i havent ckd but wouldnt a more accurate comparison have been the russell 2000?? if i recall both of these funds are aggressive growth funds.....??? and the small cap/aggressive growth (depending on how one looks at the asset classes and sub asset classes) area has underperformed the large caps which account for the majority of the s&p500 and total stock market index........thus one would not have an accurate comparison.......
