Sometimes a lover never comes back.

I agree, Steve: ostriches.

It's a bad practice to fall in love with a stock.
Often what I see in the SI threads are pleas
from jilted shareholders for their beloved stock
to come back. They lash out in anger and fear
when a bear mauls their stock, when instead
they would be better off addressing the bear's
argument(s); better off both financially and emotionally.

They consider the descent a product of manipulation,
or assign some other absurd reason to its decline.
The real answer is more often in the mirror: "I
didn't cut my losses. And I refuse to move on."

Admitting a mistake is tough, but refusing to do
so can lead to financial disaster.

Again, I am neither long nor short NT. A relative
of mine holds GLW, but that thread is quiet. Here
there is (at times) some useful information about
'optical networking' stocks.

I'm not implying that NT will never come back; but some
stocks ignore forever the pining of the lovelorn.
