Yes, they have demographic data on the state and they poll accordingly and assign votes to the respective pigeon holes,e.g., age, sex, race, income, etc.

Those pigeon holes are deemed to be extremely homogenous, with virtually no variability. But even so, the sample sizes are large enough to allow for variability.

For FL to be too close to call, I repeat, is truly amazing.

They may be observing vote % deviating by less than 1/10 of 1 %.
