No, no..by my reference of less than 1/10 of a percent. I meant one guy has like 48.5 and the other guy has 48.42 %

As far as sample size, 1500 typically creates 95% confidence with +/- 2.5%, statewide or nationwide, for maximum variability in a yes/no question BUT...

the more you homogenize the pigeon holes, the more your variability is reduced and thus 1500 is far greater than you would need to produce even higher confidence than 95%
