Cost did not bother me one way or the other. I just prefer to be uptown. In retrospect I think I may have comped the dealers and the drink ladies more than I spent on the room, but I wanted to be close to the group and that is what I got. Vegas is a trip for me. The concept of trying to comp a room is a bit out there. But next time I shall get a card for wherever I am and work from there.
