Gore's comeback has been amazing even it he doesn't win. It appears his party has done a great job of getting out the vote in key states.

In FL Gore was way ahead among Young People, Hispanics, and Blacks while seniors were even. His late night/early am trip to FL turned out to be key. What will be interesting to see is if Gore wins CA, OR, WA. The West could hold some surprises, as could some of the smaller states.

I'd say Gore has the edge now, but I sure wouldn't want to place a bet. PA still a huge key.

The FOX exit polls show that except for taxes (which is solidly being won by Bush), Gore is leading on education, soc. security and other primary issues.

65% of the people are also saying that the issues determined how they voted and 35% are more concerned with morality/leadership issues. This may be why Gore is now doing better than expected.

If Gore wins expect there to be more discussion on the fairness of the Electoral College because Bush will likely win the popular vote.
