Anyone notice that Swedish Match (SWMAY) has gained about 20% in the past several weeks? I think the company said the joint venture would start shipping nicotine gum in Q1 2001. Gotta love the "morality" "arguments" about that that have appeared on this thread. It is ok for SmithKline Beecham to make hundreds of millions of dollars on it, but if Gum-Tech gets into the foreign market in Swedish Match's 140-country distribution channel, it is somehow immoral (as judged by the amoral).
