These Internets Thrive Despite Difficult Market (AWRE)

Investors rotated out of technology and into healthcare and
other sectors during October 2000. But while most Internet-
related companies languished, small-cap guru Jim Oberweis say
"outstanding profit reports" from many of his picks. He sees
even better times ahead for these in the future.

One of these is Aware (AWRE), provider of DSL technology to
such giants as Intel, 3Com and Analog Devices. The firm also
sells DSL test and development equipment as well as image
compression software. Last quarter, Aware grew EPS a huge
150% to $0.15 on revenues of $8.1 million, a 50% rise from
last year. Oberweis predicts Aware will grow its EPS for the
year by 142% to $0.51 in 2000 and 76% to $.90 in 2001.
