According to microprocessor report Java - Embedded OS is targetted for WIND, INTS marrkets. But Micorprocesor report notes that Java is too slow and too expensive to win this market. Windows CE - MSFT is coming out with a 128K ROM version of Windows CE by 3Q 97. But it is unclear if it is targetted for the type of markets that WIND is in or it is for handhelds and internet devices. Note that INTS and WIND derive revenue from automotive, microwave,... type of markets. I am not sure if Windows CE is targeted there.
