49% to 48% to 2% for Nader. Not sure who was smart. That remains to be seen. If Republicans do not perform in the next 4 years, they will be out big time in 2004.

With a tri-fecta majority they have no excuse not to perform. I hope they prove me wrong and I will give them a chance and credit if they keep the economy going and don't screw up personal freedoms or the environment.
