EDIT!! LESS THAN 10,000 votes tipped the scale for the whole election as of 3:20 am eastern time!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are incorrect. At present the vote count is over 300k in favor of Bush. Still a TINY margin though... and one that could still evaporate. Although it is unlikely that recounts would change the electoral numbers even if Gore gets the popular vote.
