Whoa there big guy, Keep in mind that the exit polls, by definition, measure the folks who are voting the day of the election. The absentee ballots were a tactical success for the Republicans who made sure that their base were alerted to the need to participate, no matter what the travel schedule was on Election Day. The thing that baffles me right now is the Oregon vote. Bush appears to have a commanding lead, yet the networks aren't willing to call it. Wisconsin is also an enigma, so long after the polls close. Gotta wonder how they can't have got it counted by now. Maybe a few new computers could be in order there.
