Yowsah! What a squeaker!

dailynews.yahoo.com

Unofficial figures supplied by the Florida Department of State, showed Bush leading Gore by 1,784 votes, but the count was likely to change as the recount proceeded and absentee ballots were added to the tally. Election officials said there were possibly as many as 2,300 overseas ballots and other absentee ballots in the state still to be counted.

------------------------------------------------------------

Does anybody know if the absentee ballots are military? Might favor Bush. O my! Less than 2000 votes decide who will be the next President of the United States? Incredible.

Well at least the 1st brother will be there to police the ballot boxes in case Jesse Jackson shows up with a few cartons of Camels and a case of Ripple! :o|)
