Hi, Ron. Still getting your exercise railing at D.C. drivers? We may have been handed a laboratory for observing if/how multi-party politics can work in our system. Had there been a option on my ballot labeled "Gridlock," I would have chosen it. Looks like I may have gotten my choice even though it wasn't on the ballot. Ever the optimist, I'm feeling mildly sanguine about the opportunity for some issue-based moderate coalitions. At a minimum, I think these results will tend to marginalize the extremists on both sides, which would be a fine development, IMO. Karen
