Re: Ericsson - It's not an 'order,' but a development program. Ericsson wants to get into the DSL space.

What is insulting is that this news was available the morning after the financials came out, through some other news sites, and that is why the stock lifted from sub-7 to over 9 that day. Those who knew the news, bought. Those who did not, bailed. Should have closed at 6 for all I can see. In truth, the benefits of this agreement will take quarters to play out, at best. Note that it is for the new G.SHDSL standard.

The management could have announced this 'deal' the night of the conference call, and the stock would have shown more support. Just another piece of evidence that management cares not one whit about the shareholders. Still cannot believe the way the management had the nerve to justify not speaking about the bad receivables or pre-warning about earnings, by claiming: 'we didn't want to release only partial news' (yeah, right, where was the 'good' news to balance the bad? LOL), and 'actually, by having the call one week prior to when we had announced it, it is akin to pre-announcement' (jaw drops in stunned disbelief).

NTPA is losing business, big time. Read the tea leaves.
