Good Broder analysis you posted. If I had to cite one single factor for Bush's win, it would be the number of people like j1allen and the major who mobilized under the Bush banner to strike back at Clinton -- even more so than the cultural divide -- especially in in states like Kentucky, Arkansas, Tennessee, Ohio.

My election-take-in-a-nutshell: I ain't crying over Florida; Clinton-Gore failed to carry their home states.
