Why should Bush concede? Why not Gore (for a second time)?

It seems that Gore would do himself a huge political favor to be the "real man" and concede. This would position him well for 2004. Otherwise, he looks like a sore loser with an insatiable ego. How far will he go to win?

Gore is clearly on the record for supporting electoral college victories without the popular vote. I would also point out that Gore did not get a majority of the popular vote, but a plurality.

In any event, presidential elections are not, by law, decided by the popular vote.
