A new Coverage Map at Elsacom! elsacom.com Mexico and Western Russia go green, meaning, it appears, that Elsacom customers can roam to those regions, in addition to the rest of N. America, Australia and most of S. America and Europe. Elsacom map is more optimistic than Globalstar's in that it forecasts service availability in all of S. America, all of China, Southern Africa and most of the Middle East by y/e Y2K. OTOH, on the Tarriffs pages, Elsacom (still) says "Outgoing and incoming call charges apply to Italy and Region 1 [S/E Europe]. Tariffs from and to other regions will be provided, as progressive coverage is available" which seems to be a mistake.
