one reason for the grin (I've not had the pleasure of meeting young Slev YET) Paddy taught him one of the SPECIALSLEVINTRICKS when the check arrives SLOWLY and with DUEDELIBERATION 1-- slap outside area of pockets 2-- fumble around whilst getting oneatatimeandveryslowly hands into pockets 3-- reach into rear pocket and pull out wallet 4-- peer into all partitions of said wallet 5-- look at wallet with air of disbelief 6-- reach back into various pockets after slapping outside areas again 7-- announce 8-- "all I got is a couple of thousand dollar bills and/or these 500 buck chippies from _________________ (insert name of casino OTHER than one where you are*) so can YOU grab this ticket ... I'll get the next couple or two I wonder --- did ANYONE see Paddy pick up a check whilst in Vegas ?????? but I'll bet Jr IS a really nice kid and I'm looking forward to meeting him ... in the past,Pat has invited me to come to Jersey but I'd have to stay in the servants quarters at the rear of the house and tune up his snowblower which has began to rust from nonuse and hand wax his Bentley and his Beemer and plant some pansies
