Tony, RE: Any local insight as to what's going to happen in Florida, outside of what the media is saying? Here's a link to the controversial Palm Beach County ballot: sun-sentinel.com Buchanan got 3,407 votes there, about quadruple his 'normal' share in Florida. A large number of people are claiming to have wanted to vote for Gore but voted for Buchanan instead. If you cut back the Buchanan vote in Palm Beach County to the greatest total share in any other Florida county and give those votes to Gore, Gore carries Florida and wins the election. Wow.
