re: last post It is obvious that Anglo American companies such as Anglo Gold and Amplats, each with large acreage of undeveloped resource lands will now have relinquished the mineral rights to the crown. This could be positive for new entrants to the S.A. mining arena as undeveloped lands with good resource potential will now be available for exploration and exploitation.
