Oregon? What is going on? Oregon just completed the first-ever 100% vote by mail election, and a couple of things happened: 1. Very high turnout - above 80% - means more ballots to count. 2. While computers calculate the votes, humans have to verify the signature on the ballot first. More ballots = more signatures to verify = delays. 3. The vote's pretty close, so no one wants to call it until the counting is done. - Eric
