Mad Monk: I am following this thread to see if this puppy will survive or not and now I am faced with the question will we survive as a propserous nation. Waw, what a country, what e medium (the internet). So let me add my two pence of positive thinking. The long term goal from an economical point of view is to create consumer societies in all these developing countries. In the short term, we have deficits with them, but in the longer term it will be a safer world, and they will eventually buy more from us. Remember the Marshall plan, US prosperity in the early 60's was a direct result of the Marshall plan in the the late 40's early 50's. So cheer up and leave the comet alone.
