RR, even if the JDSU/SDLI merger was completed tomorrow, I don't think it would help JDSU stock price one iota.

Right now we are in tornado of conflicting opinions as to how much telecom capex spending with actually affect F/O. Those in the F/O camp believe telecom cutbacks will affect legacy systems and not the move to F/O.

Those in the bear camp keep pounding the table that telecom capex reductions will hit everyone in the food chain.

The market is telling us right now that they believe the bears however right or wrong they may be. The stock market is notorious for reacting incorrectly to information similar to the way the media gave Gore Florida prematurely.

I just hope all this babbling about capex gets swept under rug fairly soon.
