My question is, "Who changed the format of that ballot, or was the ballot always like that in that county?" If this ballot style was one the were use to and understood, that's one thing. If not, then I think the complaint is valid. I live in Florida and the voting process in my area was beautifully done. They had the regular poll watchers that they always have, decent, respectable citizens. After showing my ID and signing, I was given a ballot to take to a table and fill out, drop in a covering, and then put in a box when done. The ballot was easy to understand, no surprises. Started with the candidates from the two major parties along with their running mates. Simple, clear, easy. That SHOULD have been the way it was in every voting place. I can see where people could have gotten confused with the one you showed. IMHO, there should be such a thing as uniformity, not everyone designing whatever they want. Wonder if that was the first time that design was out for that county...
