Snip from today's WSJ:

"WASHINGTON -- A group including Newcastle Partners L.P., CIC Equity Partners Ltd. and Harold C. Simmons is disappointed with the performance of Gehl Co.'s (GEHL) stock and may seek to gain control of the company's board, according to an amended Schedule 13D filed Wednesday with the Securities and Exchange Commission."

"The equity markets don't fully appreciate the value of Gehl's stock, the filing said. The filing said Gehl's trading levels represent a low multiple to earnings and a steep discount its July 1 book value of $18.82 a share....."
