Hmmm, could be, but the Nasdaq's been grossly overvalued for some time, so is it really mere chance that it's down so much today?

Fundamentally I agree with you, though, and have been a net seller of this market all year; I've been about 75% in cash for months. However, nothing says the Naz can't rebound to 5000 or beyond and stay overvalued for years. Bears have been calling the end of this bull for as long as I can remember and it hasn't happened, which is why I'm still long many of the stocks you mention.

MSFT is one of the few stocks that (to me) doesn't seem grossly overvalued at the moment, looking at both the P/E and probable growth prospects for next year. I added 2000 shares, and may add more if things get really ugly. Risky though since nothing's fundamentally changed re. handhelds, antitrust, etc.

Regards,

VG
