Of course, you're right; however, it's a theory that can easily be sold by the media to J6P.

Then, provided we get some more tasty selloffs after Bush is confirmed the winner, the media will again attribute the losses to the election uncertainty and the public's "lack of a mandate...(yawn)." Then, a month later when J6P gets his 401K statement, he'll naturally blame it on Bush. You KNOW that's how it'll play out.

And given that scenario, I sort of wish Al Bore would take it...I could almost accept 4 years of Gore if it meant the Demos would get destroyed in the future, because J6P blamed his losses on them...let's face it, whoever the next Prez is, he's in a no-win situation. This market will surely make a goat out of whoever sits at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.
