Hi Greg,

In spite of how optimistic I normally am, I will never deal in an absolute and have always said that the market talks to us every day. We had been told and I feel we all somewhat fell for this GORE IS GOOD FOR THE MARKET AND BUSH IS NOT crap. That does not mean we believed it fully because surely we thought that Gore in no way could be that negative. I even felt that it was not so much Gore but that the INVESTOR just Psychologically was ready for Bush in so far as a substantial advance in the NAZ was concerned.

Well, the market started talking to us and especially me in a rather startling
manner during this desultory period involving the Fla. vote declaration.

Well, it started talking real strong when it was decided we would not have a winner and it sure was not going to be Bush last night or early morning or even today.

Yes, I will go out on a limb and say right now, if Gore is elected, forget the rush to Jan. in any great degree. If Bush is elected we race to Jan. BUT it must be rather quickly.

I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH, - Uncertainty is one thing BUT NOT BEING ABLE TO LOOK FOWARD IS EVERYTHING OVER A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME. Almost the reverse of Time Compression and that is what you GRADUALLY SAW TODAY. Decompression.
