"My view was that once the election was over the market was going to go down no matter what happened. Everyone had already
bought stocks expecting (knowing) that they were going to go up since October was behind us and the election would soon be
as well. At the margin, anyone who wanted to buy felt they had to in front of the election because the outcome would be benign,
therefore the only people who were waiting for the election results were sellers, who felt like they would get higher prices."

- Bill Fleckenstein in today's Market Rap

Basically sums up Wednesday's action. I've noticed that many of the short selling gurus are optimistic and are going long and looking to buy on dips. When I see that happen, I usually feel much more comfortable being heavily short.
