hmaly, I agree that is very egregious. Charging $10,000 and using it for election purposes.
Well, he is a lame duck now.
Looks like Bush is going to lose the Texas electoral college votes due to the 12th amendment to the constitution which requires a non Texas residency for one of the two(Bush and his VP).
What a barrel of laughs. Hard to see how they can weazle out of that one.
In that situation the house has an election if there is no majority possible with the texas votes taken from Bush/Cheney.
Since even with Florida they will be just over the 270, with texas taken away they will need to have a house election. Since the republicans are the majority in the house, Bush will win.
Of course if Gore takes Florida, Gore wins.
