The shrub is probably going to win in Florida after the absentee ballots are counted. I wonder if anyone has given thought to the possible fallout from that i.e.:

Saddam Hussein only hates one thing more than he hates the Israelis, and that is George Bush (elder). Iraq supplies over 3 million bbl/day of oil, has the ability to disrupt the supply of several million more, and the U.S. is practically helpless to prevent him from thus celebrating the electoral victory of his enemy's son. With the situation in Palestine as it is, the sort of military operation we mounted in '90-'91 is impossible, since the arab countries we would need tacit or implicit approval from wouldn't dare cooperate in the face of the massive popular opposition that would exist in their own polities. Can anyone say "$60/bbl oil"?
