OT - Election

KyrosL

I see your point, and I agree with you. BUT - my guess is that the re-count will confirm that Bush won the election in Florida. The Election is based on rules, and these rules include the RNC and DNC approving ballot formats prior to the election, which they did. The rules include the disqualification of double votes, which they did. The bottom line is that rules were followed, and still people were confused in their voting. Both the DNC and RNC are at fault for allowing such a confussiong ballot to be used, but non the less, they did allow it. Big mistake.

It is extremely likely that many of the over 100,000,000 people across the country made mistakes when they voted, especially the elderly. But we are not talking about the others, because ther votes "don't matter". The only ones we are talking about and will be filing lawsuits over and talking about rights violations over, are the ones that could change the outcome, the few that matter.

Incidenetly, Gore won the popular vote by roughly the same margin as Bush appearantly won the Florida-too close to call-withdraw my concession-automatic recount-I made a mistake vote.
