Doug--My reference to "significant portion of the country will not assign the moral authority to lead to Bush" was intentional because it is near verbatim to what many Republicans were saying throughout the 1990s about Clinton.

Something very wrong has happened in the country. In the past, losing parties used to accept the new Prez and show the proper respect. Even Nixon got that respect in 1968(and the Democrats really hated him). But ever since Watergate, for some reason, there has been a growing trend to not accept the people's will. And those rejecting the loudest get the loudest soap box.

There were Democrats who used to think Reagan was incompetent, Republicans who thought Carter was a Clown. (Interestingly, elder Bush was treated fairly and so was Ford.) But the election of Clinton brought it all to a head again.

Alec Baldwin says he'll leave the country if Bush is elected. Guess what, I'd wave goodbye to him at the airport, myself.

All I am saying is that this is the highest office on the planet and stepping through the process in a thoughtful manner is not whining or denial.

As for WI, that is sad to hear. Same in MO, if those are true. But Bush won MO anyways, and WI/OR are not relevant to the final vote count in the electoral college.

FL was the key months ago, it still is. It is THE focal point.
