Comment: In a word, no...AMD is a very different animal and this "gang" refuses to differentiate its unique characteristics from those of its primary competitors...including ASP's that have enormous upside potential given the ongoing transition from K6 to K7 and AMD's enviable positioning in the 1 gig and over niche, with little current competition, and poised to capture the flood of upgrading from sub 500 Mhz that is in its initial building stage...not to mention sold out flash to end of Y2001 and probably well beyond given the recent signed Nortel 3 year agreement...and, of course, the DM unknown, details of which current project may be released later today!!! Nope...just can't take their broadbrushing AMD with "all the others" seriously, even if the general market players choose to...
