John...sorry to disagree but they were very confusing. Over 18,000 people double punched it. Probably 10 times that many didn't catch the mistake. Gore was listed second, but to vote for him, you would have to punch the third hole. The networks were absolutely right in declaring Gore the winner.....a winner with possibly close to a quarter million more votes than Bush. If that is so..and evidence seems to be reasonably strong...how can the wishes of the people be overruled???
